Keira Knightley has beauty, talent, brains – AND luck!

Hands-down, one of my very favorite actresses working today – or, truly, ever – has to be Keira Knightley. Her unique and fresh presence, exemplified by not only her dazzling and varied acting performances but also her stunning, natural beauty, should be an inspiration to other troubled starlets of Hollywood. And now we find out that Ms. Knightley isn’t just blessed by genetics, smarts and fashion savvy, but she also owes her fame to the fact that she’s charmed by good luck as well! From PR-Inside.com:
“If the first Pirates of the Caribbean film had been the failure everyone predicted that it would be, then I might not have worked again. I am a great believer in luck. I have a lucky charm bracelet. It is my grandfather’s watch chain with my grandmother’s charms, plus various additions. My agent added a sword and a boat at the start of Pirates for example.”
Gorgeous! I simply adore the fact that Ms. Knightley’s success has blossomed as a result of such a wonderfully quaint, she’s-such-a-real-person anecdote like this one, and I find it so inspiring that her agent – who, I hear, had nothing at all to do with the media placement of this item – is so kind and generous to have given her a good luck charm that will forever be linked to her most successful and publicity-friendly role.
Hollywood is truly full of dreamers and stardust. Oh how I miss it.

Oh, how I love you, Keira! Your talents lifted the Pirates franchise to its rightful place among the greatest and most important trilogies of all time.
Alan, you’re the worst.
Bizarro.

God. She deserved the nomination for P&P.

I have to admit that before Kiera dropped 25 lbs and made herself looks like absolute piss, I had a thing for her.

Sorry, Piper, I can’t follow you there. She’s always struck me as a bit pinch-faced, underweight and wildly full of herself.
Hm. I may have just described 98% of Hollywood actresses as well. So be it.

Yikes. Suddenly I can picture her spending a lot of time in small, dark rooms with voodoo dolls.
