Apologies for the light posting last week.

If you’re a regular visitor to Burbanked, who the hell are you exactly? you may have noticed that last week was a little thin on content. Real life interceded a number of times, and I was forced, reluctantly, to shove my duties here toward the back of the stove. This can happen sometimes, what with the responsibilities that I shoulder as a result of “the real job” and “the freelance work that pays” and “the family that occasionally expects me to hang around and pay attention to them”.

So it goes. Sorry if you stopped by here and didn’t find anything new or exciting, but the truth is it was a pretty lame week for movie industry news, anyway, wasn’t it? Scorsese knocked it out of the park; everybody but Travolta got canned; Tori Spelling wore a really silly dress. Are we caught up now?

Hopefully this week will be a little more manageable and ideally I’ll have something interesting for you here when you come back. I do value your visits, hits and clicks and I’ll do my best to make it worth your while.
