Starting on Monday 9.22.08 and running for two weeks, writer and film historian Raymond Benson will be posting a series of his top-10 films of 1968 over at the Britannica Blog. Not only is 1968 roughly 40 years old this year, but Benson has chosen ‘68 from the standpoint that the country’s turbulent societal times created a landmark year of movies that included the likes of 2001, Bullitt, The Producers, Barbarella, Planet of the Apes, Rosemary’s Baby and a bunch more. Film fans and bloggers alike are invited to come join the discussion – and there’s even a chance you could win a copy of Benson’s latest book. Find out more here.
