Apologies to Internet Explorer users…

bill gates will get you and your little wordpress tooUPDATE: the problem was actually due to a SiteMeter upgrade, and not my fault! Even better, it’s been resolved. I guess I just always take the guilt on myself. Boo hoo. If you’re reading this in Internet Explorer, you’re some kind of a sorcerer. Because my recent WordPress upgrade has crashed Burbanked when you try to load it in IE. The problem is probably one of my 89 plugins all wrassling for attention on this page. I’m working on finding out which one, and will provide an update when I figure it out. Sorry, IE users who aren’t even able to read this right now. As for you Firefox folks, this is probably the day you’ve all been waiting for.

And by the way, if any code geniuses out there have a solution, don’t be shy.

Unfortunately me bro is on vacation. He switched us all to firefox a while ago though so I…See…You…

I use pretty much nothing but FF. But every so often it occurs to me that a pretty large percentage of web users are still on IE, not to mention the tiny masses who stop by here.

I’m guessing your bro is a code monkey. Maybe he’s got a cell phone…? :)

My blog looks like crap on Internet Explorer 6 but fine in the new browsers (ie7, safari, and Firefox).

Surprisingly, I just read to entries on Blogger-based blogs saying they too were having an issue with IE.

For the record, while I am a Firefox user, I decided to check out what comes up when I load your page in IE 6, and it loads fine for me in that browser… curiouser and curiouser.

Sitemeter seems to be the issue here.

    Weirdness

Indeed it is all curious, MC, because today everything in IE seems hunky-dory again. Incidentally, I’m using IE 7, which last night was crashing harder than a starlet in her first day of rehab. Today, it’s like nothing was ever wrong.

Kind of like when a starlet gets out of rehab.
