Friday Meals on Reels: Special Mystery Foodgrab Edition!

Thought we’d try something a shade different this week with our movie foodgrab and see if you can guess the title of the 1995 film where we see the following at just over the seven-minute mark: talk about a hot tomato

Or is that too subtle? Well, I’m not a cruel man, so I’ll give you a too-easy clue found in the film’s second foodgrab seen here.

You’ll have to leave a comment with your guess, but in the meantime the grillingly bewitching and unavoidably groovy Mrs. Burbanked will once again tempt your tastebuds, after the jump.

Today’s Friday Meals on Reels: Tomato, Pasta & Hot Mystery Meat Soup

  • 3 big tomatoes, chopped up
  • 1 cup cooked fusili pasta
  • 1 1/2 pounds pork ribs
  • 5 cups water
  • 1 big carrot, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Over medium heat, submerge the pork ribs in water and cook those little beasties for about an hour, or until the meat’s falling off the bone. Drain that hot meat and set it aside. Also over medium heat in a large soup pot, throw in the water, tomatoes, carrot, onion and salt. Drown the ribs in that mix and bring it all to a boil, then reduce the heat. Drop the pasta into the soup and let the whole thing simmer for 25 minutes, or until the veggies are fork-soft.

That would be “Heat” .. although I had no idea until the second pic with Waingro.
