De Palma’s Capone Rising maybe isn’t.

Richard at Filmstalker is torn over whether or not it’s good news that Brian De Palma’s proposed Untouchables sequel is getting stalled in development and casting. De Palma is considering moving on if Capone Rising doesn’t come together soon. I’m not torn; despite De Palma’s admired involvement, this is one of the more pointless sequel ideas to come down the development pipeline and I can’t see audiences being all that broken up about it if it didn’t happen.
