Take a look at a pair of cool new Spider-Man 3 posters.

back together for the first timeOver at Celluloid & Vinyl they’ve got large, lovely versions of two new one-sheets for Spider-Man 3 that play up the “battle within”/duality theme of next summer’s biggest movie. They’re great posters, although I don’t really understand why the red-and-blue-Spidey-in-front version is so much darker than the other one. The version with the black-suit Spidey in front dovetails nicely not only into previous teaser posters for this sequel, but also for SM and SM2 – so why the difference?

Those wacky movie marketers. We’re still a good six months from release day, so I have to wonder how many more of these we’ll see before show time. Hopefully Sony is planning to stay along these theme lines and not resort to TMHOP Syndrome.

Take a look at the black-suit-Spidey version, and follow a link to both versions in massive hi-res form, after the jump.

Here’s the full, very, very cool poster:
did I mention that this was cool?

Go see both versions over at Celluloid & Vinyl.
