Of course you’ve probably been reading and watching reports about the racially-charged controversy that has resulted from “comedian” Michael Richards’ onstage tirade against some hecklers at a recent Laugh Factory show in Los Angeles. And last night, a somber, flustered and frustrated Richards appeared on the David Letterman Show, issuing an apology to the uncomfortable tittering of Letterman’s in-studio audience.
Fortunately, ifilm is doing its part to alleviate any rage or shame that we might be feeling. At the end of the 6-minute clip of Richards’ apology, the Web site’s content suggestion engine handily prompts us to watch a clip of Dave Chappelle’s wacky “Lil’ Jon” character (click the picture above or here for a bigger screengrab).
Thank you, ifilm, for putting such a complex societal issue into its proper perspective.
