Tomorrow is Monty Python day at Burbanked.
By Burbanked on Oct 4, 2006 in Off the Rails, TV | 1,370 views |

On October 5th, 1969, the first episode of Monty Python’s Flying Circus aired on the BBC. 45 episodes, 5 films, nearly 20 record albums and untold countless quotation-spouting legions of fanboys later, Python’s original series remains the gold standard of hilariously surreal sketch comedy television.
In honor of the show’s 37th anniversary, tomorrow Burbanked will be featuring a handful of Python-related bits, videos, historical references, remembrances, possibly one silly walk and/or fish-slapping dance and some completely pointless merchandise. Stop by for running updates every couple of hours, certain to fill your day with work-killing, Spam-flavored fun.
Hope to see you here tomorrow. All are welcome, except for Michael Ellis.
