Womb to Tomb – it’s even shorter than you thought you thought before.

SPECIAL W2T BULLETIN! Of course, the other news on this date was that veteran TV host Michael Douglas passed awayon his own birthday. Now THAT is about as far as we choose to stretch our already-thin Womb to Tomb premise, even though Douglas can technically be classified as a movie actor.

Last time, Womb to Tomb demonstrated that the tendrils of Hollywood births and deaths could be as close as three movies apart from each other.

Well, get ready to feel the bony finger of death tickling the back of your neck, friends, because this month our birth- and bucket-kicking-celebrants are separated by only! two! movies!

On this day, August 11th, Hulk Hogan was born. The wrestler-actor-reality TV dad burst from the womb, snarling and posturing, in 1953.

  • Hogan was not nominated for an Oscar when he appeared as himself – denied! – in Gremlins 2: The New Batch alongside a likely slumming Christopher Lee.

And Christopher Lee played the 1958 version of Dracula to the Van Helsing of future Darth Vader Scowler Peter Cushing, the British and prolifically creepy actor who met his maker on this day, August 11th.
