Friday night quickie: go visit The Daily Gut. You know, daily.

You know how you visit a new blog, maybe add its RSS or bookmark it, but inside your head you kind of put it on probation? You’ll visit there, find some stuff you like, but you know deep in your heart that the moment your list gets unwieldy, that new one is the first to go.
I felt that way about The Daily Gut, a fine collection of random twisted weirdness. It’s not a movie blog exactly, but frequently posts about movies and pop culture, so I was definitely interested. I just wasn’t quite sure…
…but then they posted this. And now they’ve got me.

Not to throw down on The Daily Gut, as I think the cartoon is damn funny stuff, but the Vin Diesel fact was lifted completely from another site.
Random Facts About Vin Diesel: http://4q.cc/index.php?pid=fact&person=vin
They have the same thing for Chuck Norris, which has been making the rounds for a while now, culminating in the Chuckster’s appearance on the Best Damn Sports How Period, where he read a list of random facts about himself and showed that he has the reading ability of a fourth grader from Minnestoa. Some Texas Ranger he is!

Thanks for the tip, The.
I hadn’t seen the random factoid generator page before, but I’ll take your word for it that the Vin-eating-babies bit is there. As it is, I’ve been refreshing until my F5 finger is bleeding and I haven’t seen it yet. Who knew people cared so much about Vin Diesel?
And in Chuck Norris’ defense, I’m not sure that reading is a prerequisite for being a Texas Ranger. Clearly there’s no evidence on the show one way or the other.
