Say, here’s a thought! It’s time to clean out the Burbanked video vault with some trailers and video bits both entertaining and annoying. Enjoy, multimedia fans!
Could we be seeing a reemergence of Serious Actor Affleck in this Hollywoodland trailer? It looks like a nice piece of mysterio-drama, but it is intriguing how downplayed Affleck is here. Nothing like falling Hollywood stock to humble a guy’s public profile. (via PopWatch)
As promised, NBC.com has begun to roll out summer Webisodes of The Office featuring a handful of the hit show’s B-characters as they try to figure out how $3000 has gone missing from the Dunder Mifflin coffers. Entertaining, not quite up to the show’s standards, but a fine enough diversion. (via Film Junk)
The silly, effects-laden, one-joke premise. Comedian with a limited skill set. Likely third-act, heavy-handed “family is what’s important” message. Yep – Zoom is the new Click.
A Night at the Museum looks like an excellent movie for people who like to see Ben Stiller mug, scream and run a lot. And can anyone explain, exactly, how a T-Rex would be able to use his little tiny arms to activate the button on a water fountain?
Plenty has been said about the new Rocky Balboa trailer, but it’s certainly worth watching for its train wreck-like qualities. And really, any film that stars A.J. Benza as a sleazy agent-type can’t be all bad, right?
There’s a certain whimsical SNL charm to this fun short about Chad Vader who works as a hapless middle manager in a grocery store – that is, it’s a great bit with some very funny moments, but doesn’t quite know how to end. Still worth some laughs for the spot-on Vader characterization. (via needcoffee.com)
