Some good wishes for Roger Ebert’s upcoming surgery.

Film critic Roger Ebert’s going under the knife again, undergoing cancer surgery on his salivary gland on June 16th. Ebert had surgery to remove a malignant tumor on his thyroid gland in 2002 and two surgeries on his salivary gland in 2003. We’re big fans of Ebert’s and wish him all the best for a speedy recovery, offering just a small tidbit of advice:
If, while you’re under anesthesia, you see Gene Siskel giving you a big smile and the “thumbs-up”, DON’T FOLLOW HIM INTO THE LIGHT.
