Some excellent, regular-Joe film commentary can be found at Flickskinny.com (via Hollywood Elsewhere) – and the fact that it’s delivered via hilariously scribbled comic strips (that’s a small excerpt of Brokeback on the left) is just short of brilliant. Be sure to check out their big archive of film reviews.
Wish these guys would do some kind of Oscar round-up; they manage to pack more insight into a two-minute read than Ebert or any of the others.
